All-Day Photo Adventure
Learn to Photograph an Entire Day of Light — Sunrise to Nightfall
Price: $650
If you’ve ever wondered what it really feels like to shoot like a working photographer—through every shift of light, weather, and mood—this is the experience. No classroom. No theory. Just you, me, a camera, and an entire day dedicated to learning how to see.
This all-day private photo adventure is designed to teach you how to photograph from blue hour before sunrise… all the way to blue hour after sunset. Morning haze, harsh noon sun, golden hour, storm clouds, street lights, rain, shadows, darkness—you’ll learn how to handle it all.
What the Day Looks Like
I pick you up 30 minutes before morning blue hour, and we begin shooting the moment the world wakes up.
We drive, walk, explore, chase light, follow weather, and create a story out of whatever the day gives us.
By nightfall, after the last frame in pitch-black dark, I drop you back off—camera full, mind full, tired in the best way.
This is a true documentary day:
A trip, a story, a full visual record of everything that unfolds.
What You’ll Learn
- How to shoot every lighting condition (rain, sun, shade, night, harsh light, soft light, and the in-between moments)
- How to build a visual story over the course of a day
- How professionals work when conditions are unpredictable
- How to make fewer photos that matter more
- How to edit down thousands of frames into your best 5–35 images
- How to begin building a strong, intentional portfolio or website gallery
We’ll typically create 500 to several thousand frames—but the real magic is learning how to select only the shots that carry weight. I encourage students to edit down to 35 images max (one roll of film)… or even five truly exceptional frames that hit harder than a whole gallery.
Where We Go
Anywhere the day wants to take us.
Beaches, ferries, small towns, marsh roads, historic districts, back roads, piers, boardwalks, dunes—whatever fits your personality and your creative goals. We plan the route together based on your style, interests, and experience level.
(Example day: Myrtle Beach → Fort Fisher → Kure Beach → Ferry across the Cape Fear → Wilmington → back to Myrtle Beach. 5am–9pm. Pictures below)

Who It’s For
Beginners, hobbyists, professionals… anyone who wants a deep, practical, hands-on photography education in one unforgettable day.
Mirrorless, DSLR, or smartphone—all welcome.
Why This Works
Because photography isn’t learned in a classroom.
It’s learned by moving through a real day with intention, curiosity, and endurance. By the time we finish, you won’t just take better photos—
you’ll think differently, see differently, and shoot with purpose.
At the end, you will have a better understanding into the fact that every photo taken is a soft goodbye to that moment captured.
Below is an ALL-DAY example: From start to finish.
