A Charleston 2-Hour Photo Walk

If You Want to Learn Photography—Start With Two Hours of the Real Thing.

Price: $125

This isn’t a classroom. It’s Charleston—alive, layered, bright with history and color—and for two hours, it becomes your training ground.
This private photo walk is designed to teach you the foundations of strong photography by doing, not talking.

What You’ll Learn

Over the course of two focused hours, we’ll move through Charleston’s historic streets and use the city as our chalkboard. We break things down simply, visually, and directly:

  • How to see light (soft morning glow, hard angles, reflections, shadows)
  • How to frame and compose with intention
  • How to time a moment so it actually feels like something
  • How to work with whatever camera you have—DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone

No perfectionism. No overthinking. Just real-world shooting with simple, memorable techniques you can use immediately.

How It Works

  • We meet in one of Charleston’s most photogenic historic districts.
  • We walk, observe, shoot, and break down scenes in real time.
  • I sketch concepts right onto the sidewalk or brick walls—old-school, visual, fast.
  • We shoot until the city starts revealing its stories to you.

Who It’s For

Anyone who wants to level up quickly—
Beginners, returning creatives, travelers, or photographers stuck in a rut and craving clarity.

Why It Works

Because photography is not learned through menus, manuals, or lectures—it’s learned by being present and seeing what you’ve never noticed before.
In two hours, you’ll walk away with: Better photos, Better instincts, A sharper, more confident eye
